Wordless Wednesday - Last Chance

Before your garden fresh tomatoes are gone...

  1. Beautiful display! Can I have a bite? Did you grow those beauties yourself? Tips please!

  2. I bought six plants in early July from CanadianTire for $3 a piece, (my neighbour grew his from seeds, labour intensive and not nearly as much fruit). Mine already had heaps of flowers on them and they are STILL trying to grow tomatoes despite the chill at night! They are by far and away the BEST tomatoes I have ever tasted - I will be growing heaps next year in the garden!

This recipe idea is my sister Brandie's and is currently one of my favourites. I slice the Tomats, add the Basil and Goat Cheese, drizzle with olive oil, sprinkle with fine wet sea salt. Delicious!

  3. YUM! I hope to do some container gardening next summer and look forward to yumminess like you posted fresh from my own garden.

  4. Dear Lord that looks delicious! I think I have part of dinner planed now. Thanks for the inspiration!! xx

  5. What a creative display! The light and colour, fragrance and taste imagined is delightful. Pictures do speak a thousand words!

Have I mentioned I ADORE your comments? Well I do - THANK YOU!!!
