Words to Laugh By...

I am packing up a storm today, and am a little overwhelmed by how little headway it seems that I have made. Boo.

So I thought I would share some of the things that get said around the house that make my day a little brighter!

Jack: (heartily enjoying his lunch) "whack-a -roo-nee. I can say that, right? It means 'I am eating GREAT food' in French!"

Isla: (sneezing, spitting all over Daddy's phone and the dog) "Mommy, I blessed all over Velma."

These kids make me laugh so hard!

I would love to hear what the special people in your life say to make you giggle, and I could use the break from packing!

  1. Samantha has picked up on a few 'bad' words and now reminds me all the time by saying 'Remember mommy, we don't say for fuck's sake, we say, 'oh gosh!' Cute, but slightly embarrassing!

Samantha has started to return the compliments that we give her for potty training. When I walk out of the bathroom nowadays, she says, 'Mommy, did you go pee?' When I tell her I did, she gets all excited and says 'Mommy, I am SO proud of you', and kisses me.

David bought me a book called 'My Quotable Kid' which lets you write down all the fabulous things your kids say. Definitely record and write down what your little chihuahuas are saying!!
I enjoy reading your blog. :)

  2. Thanks Marzena! I love reading your adventure filled blog as well, your poppets are hysterical! 'My Quotable Kid' sounds like a great find. I always mean to write things down so having one book, all quotes in one place, is a wonderful idea.
